The HemoPoint® H2 NXT Microcuvette is a diagnostic consumable designed for rapid and accurate hemoglobin and hematocrit testing. Each microcuvette is pre-filled with a dry reagent, ensuring precise chemical interaction upon contact with blood. The dry reagent technology minimizes variability and enhances shelf stability, allowing consistent performance across clinical settings.

Blood is automatically drawn into the cuvette via capillary action, simplifying the collection process and minimizing operator error. The design allows for the use of a minimal sample volume—only 8 µL—sourced from capillary, venous, or arterial blood. This low-volume requirement supports efficient and less invasive sampling, particularly beneficial in pediatric and geriatric care environments.

Each container includes 50 individually sealed microcuvettes, preserving sterility and protecting against environmental contamination. The sealed packaging also extends usability within clinical workflows by reducing waste and ensuring that each test maintains integrity until the point of use. The cuvettes are compatible with the HemoPoint® H2 system for immediate analysis.
